Digital Marketing

Develop and implement marketing campaigns that promotes our mission and services. Enhance brand awareness within the digital space and as well as driving traffic to our website. We are looking for motivated individual who would be really excited to take up this challenging role of Volunteer Digital Marketing Manager.

Essential Tasks

  1. Assist with the day-to-day management and distribution of contents. Development and execution of overall media strategies and marketing.
  2. Cross functional collaboration with the marketing and project management teams to ensure shareable content is aligned with the overall enterprise message.  
  3. Write and publish social / web posts and campaigns.
  4. Build & maintain a digital marketing strategy around the promotion of ASI initiative


Min Qualifications required: Bachelors / Masters
Min Experience Required: 2 years
Experience or Knowledge in a specific subject or area required: Bachelors in any subject with at least 2 years experience in Social media marketing
Minimum Volunteer hours required: (in hrs. per week) 4 hours

Skills

  1. Previous experience in digital marketing and / or social media marketing

  • Supporting the professional and efficient project management and delivery of events in the annual portfolio
  • Build all aspects of an events calendar in alignment with the fundraising and community outreach initiatives
  • Manage external outreach strategy to promote events via various channels (social/email/website)
  • Set up marketing automation process to send out email invites. Experience with Mailchimp is a plus.
  • Reach out to bloggers to get them along to events
  • Create high quality event marketing material supported by internal designers and the marketing team
  • Drive content marketing, i.e. live tweeting from events.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining a community within the company; use Bitrix to update on recent events and motivate volunteers to come along/support
  • Create a monthly newsletter to inform target audience about upcoming and past events
  • Data management – develop and maintain a clean list of target contacts for email marketing purposes. Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce is a plus.
  • Cooperate with Events Executive and marketing to promote and publicize events
  • Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
  • Assist in conducting pre- and post-event analysis to understand effectiveness and impact of the event concept and report on outcomes
  • Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders internally and externally

The Head of Operations provides leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that Advance Social Innovation (ASI) has the proper operational controls, administrative, reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. The position accomplishes this through a respectful, constructive, and energetic style, guided by the objectives of the ASI.

Essential Functions

  1. Provide leadership and management to a service organization that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the organization. Bottom line: Help build an effective organization.
  2. Together with Board and the Founder’s support, help the organization to achieve and surpass its business and impact goals and objectives.
  3. Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external. Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the organization to the Founder of ASI.
  4. Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
  5. Collaborate with the head of HR to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel (Volunteers) designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organization.
  6. Act as a lead “client-care officer” through direct contact with clients and partners to gather information about how ASI can improve its services.
  7. Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the organization.

This volunteer position operates in a virtual environment. If you reside in Bay Area, CA this roles requires once a month meeting with the Founder of ASI.

Volunteer Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This volunteer position regularly requires 10 hours a week, preferably 15-20 hours of week.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  2. At least 10 years of strong operational experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Master’s degree in business or related field.
  2. At least 10 years in a senior management role.

Reporting to the Meta volunteer of the People Management Team, the Lead – Talent Acquisition volunteer will lead and guide the efforts of the sourcing specialists team for Advance Social Innovation departments and Social Enterprises. The ideal candidate will have experience in full cycle recruitment, managing teams, guiding team members through growth, and adapt to a non-profit start up culture that expects collaboration, as well as speed, in execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Building Solutions: Determine current volunteer needs, develops effective talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans to meet the volunteer needs
  • Collaboration & Task Allocation: Partner with HR Meta Volunteer to ensure tasks are assigned to all team members. Collaborate through use of phone calls to address team challenges.
  • Organization branding: Lead organizational branding through social recruitment and postings of volunteer opportunities. Ensure positive candidate experience through prompt and effective communication.
  • Training & Development: Ensure all team members are appropriately trained to effectively perform their tasks. including conducting trainings related to system usage, so that the team members can effectively perform their role.
  • Talent Management: Assist with full cycle recruiting which includes sourcing, conducting interviews, and extending offers. Ensure all website postings are accurate with clear role analysis.
  • Data, Metrics & Review: Tracks, analyzes, and utilizes a range of data metrics to identify areas of improvement, review of hiring status on ASI departments and Social enterprises. Maintain a consolidated up to date tracker of all potential applicants in Volunteer Match.
  • Coaching: Promotes effective development though coaching and counseling direct reports. Provide role clarity, assessment of training and development needs of the team to scale

Overview

As a key content writing professional with excellent communication skills, your main purpose will be to write marketing content that promotes and maintains the brand and voice of ASI Inclusion. Your role is to develop highly influencing pitch decks which will be presented to various companies to attract them to partner with ASI for their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.  You will be tasked with creating content to support key marketing initiatives and assist the Senior Project Manager to execute the project seamlessly.

General Responsibilities

Actively engage in the project as there is immense scope of learning the project management principles

Write content to support our marketing initiatives which mainly is preparing marketing collateral and various Pitch Decks to be presented to prospect Corporate partners

Work with Sr. Project Manager to validate content related to our services

Customize Pitch Decks as and when required

Work collaboratively with peers to review and edit content

Write content for internal communications and initiatives

Responsible for emphasizing and maintaining ASI branding guidelines

Oversee the marketing communications editing process to ensure high-quality standards

Participate in meetings, write meeting reports to maintain an active database of information for a number of markets which will benefit new Entrepreneurs
