What Is Inclusion?

Women and minorities often face implicit biases and additional barriers to succeed within the enterprise sector. However, diversity in enterprise is vital to societal progress. The ASI Inclusion program tackles this issue by providing resources to women, minority, and disadvantaged entrepreneurs. Our innovative approach incorporates a strategic due-diligence process and a platform that connects startups with investors and mentors.

How Does It Work?

Early-stage startups led by underrepresented entrepreneurs may apply to participate in this program. If selected, startups will go through a rigorous risk-evaluation process that helps evaluate probability of success and identify areas of weakness. Startups will be supported by a team of dedicated volunteers and receive guidance from industry experts throughout this process. At the end of the program, startups will be invited to pitch to investors.

What Are The Benefits?

Entrepreneurs will learn to assess and manage the risk of their startups and acquire mentorship from industry experts. They can then leverage these skills and knowledge to showcase their potential when pitching to investors, ultimately increasing their odds of success. Investors will be provided unique opportunities to connect with promising startups and gain exposure to underrepresented entrepreneurs within the social enterprise sector. Together, we will reduce the implicit biases that currently exist within the enterprise sector, and equalize opportunities for every individual to achieve their full potential.
